Vintage Linens

It's a gorgeous morning here in Virginia, birds are singing and the sun is out.
I am going through my vintage linens, and I see a lot of them have missing threads and I think I'm going to fix them.
I have seen some wonderful quilt pieces made out of these, too many ideas for my brain this morning.  Do you have vintage linens, and what have you done with them?  Let us know!

  1. I have boxes of them. Some I use around the house and the others are waiting to hear their fate. I have been thinking a quilt as well but still not sure how I will do it yet. xx

  4. Look at your pretty linens, RoseMary. So wonderful to meet another fan. I gave most of mine away when our family moved two years ago. Needed simplicity. As you have seen at my blog, I am now starting to shop for them again, hoping to find some really nice vintage ones at the thrift store soon.
By the way, welcome to Florida. I've lived here for over 45 years and cannot imagine living anywhere else. The sea and the sunshine are too irresistible. Hope you grow to love it too.
    Much love!
